One of the perks of living outside of Manhattan is that you get better views of Manhattan. It’s true, ask anyone who lives outside of Manhattan – the ones who live inside Manhattan would never admit to it.

If you ever do decide to make it across the Hudson, take some time to visit the Exchange Place waterfront in Jersey City. A quick hop on the Path Train and get off at the Exchange Place stop to soak in one of the best views of lower Manhattan. The World Trade Center will be the center of it all.

The view is awesome by day, but spectacular at night. I’m sure you’ve heard of the Manhattan views from Brooklyn and Long Island City, but don’t sleep on Jersey City. It’s peaceful, less crowded and surprisingly convenient.

Didn’t know you’re residing in Jersey City! Just moved out of my Newport apartment! And I’d definitely have to agree that Exchange Place has one of the best views of lower Manhattan, as if you can almost touch the WTC! Anyway, just read about the new chapter in your life, and so excited for you! Can’t wait to see and hear all about your experiences in Europe! (I spent my last year of undergrad abroad too!) x

Hey Daisy! That’s so crazy I love Newport 🙂 where do you live now?? Thanks for your kind words I’m so excited but nervous since I’ve never been but the excitement definitely takes over the nerves. Xx, Jinna

I moved into Battery Park.. so literally across the river from Exchange Place! Haha not very far from where I was, but after about a year and a half in Newport, I thought I’d make the move back into the city! Also, if you plan on staying in Florence, Italy by any chance, I’d love to give recos if you want! x
